Mara Sobel
BScH MSc MD FRCSC
Dr. Mara Sobel graduated medical school from the University of Ottawa and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto. She pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at McMaster University. She has a Masters degree in medical microbiology from Queen's University and is completing a second Master's degree in health research methodology from McMaster University. She recently started at Mount Sinai Hospital as staff with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2015. Her research interests include medical education, optimization of peri-operative care, minimally invasive surgery and the surgical management of women with endometriosis.
