Interested in the department’s Surgeon-Scientist Program (SSP) (a.k.a. Clinician Investigator Program (CIP))?
U of T offers the two-year Surgeon-Scientist Program to prepare residents for a career as a clinician-scientist. Typically, the program is completed between the third and fifth year of training and includes a master’s degree. It is also possible to pursue doctoral work.
This in-person information session will feature past and current trainees and supervisors, as well as other faculty, to give you an overview of the program and the resources and support available. You will leave with insights into how participation in the program can shape your training and have a lasting impact on your career.
