Our department's goal in equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is to create a community in which our faculty, trainees and staff are empowered to effect positive change and transform our community into a fully inclusive environment. EDI initiatives bring our community together to make a more harmonized environment for our faculty, trainees and staff, as well as the patients they serve.
The role of EDI Officer aligns our department with Temerty Faculty of Medicine’s strategic planning priority “Excellence Through Equity.”
