ObGyn Resident Wins PARO Trust Fund Teaching Award

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is pleased to announce that one of our residents has been awarded the PARO Trust Fund Resident Teaching Award!

Dr. Elizabeth Miazga, who is currently in her fourth year of residency with the department, was awarded in early May at a ceremony with one other UofT medical resident. This award acknowledges two senior residents who have provided outstanding clinical teaching experiences to junior residents and clinical clerks. Dr. Miazga was nominated by her fellow residents and clinical clerks. Along with the award plaque, Dr. Miazga also received $1,000.
