From our colleagues at Mount Sinai Hospital:

Congratulations to Dr. Cynthia Maxwell for receiving the SOGC Regional Achievement Award.  This prize recognizes the excellence of members who volunteer at the local, regional or provincial levels for women’s health.

She has also been a member of both the Maternal-Neonatal Committee and the Maternal-Neonatal Transport Committees of the PCMCH. She has worked to support diversity and inclusion more recently through her appointment as a Governing Council member to the PCMCH. She was a founding member of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility Advisory Working Group to the PCMCH.

Dr. Maxwell is passionate about mentorship and medical education, and co-leads N-ABL, the provincial network to support Black medical learners across all Ontario faculties of medicine.
