Dr. Yolanda Kirkham is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto. After her Masters and medical degrees at the University of British Columbia, she moved to Toronto to pursue her ObGyn residency training. She completed a fellowship subspecialization in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology at the Hospital for Sick Children. She is on staff at St Joseph's Health Centre and Women's College Hospital, where she leads the Young Women's Gynecology Clinic. Dr. Kirkham completed the UofT Certificate in quality improvement and patient safety, Physician Leadership Development Program at Women's College Hospital, and inaugural Media and Medicine postgraduate certificate program at Harvard. Dr. Kirkham enjoys and devotes time to patient education and outreach through online, print, and TV media avenues.
