Tatiana Freire-Lizama

Dr. Freire-Lizama founded the High Risk Obstetrics Clinic at St Michael’s Hospital and continues there as a Staff Perinatologist. She is active in both Postgraduate and Undergraduate Medical Education, is currently director of Transition into Clerkship and co-director of Transition into Residency in the MD program. She has won a number of teaching awards and previously chaired the Obstetric Local Quality of Care Committee for St. Michael’s Hospital for many years and remains active with the hospital’s More OB program. Dr. Freire-Lizama has particular interests in Quality Assurance, simulation in Medical Education and in working with refugee and underserved populations.
