Dr. Bodley is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where she completed her postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowships in urogynecology, pelvic reconstructive surgery and advanced laparoscopy. She also obtained a Master of Education degree from the University of Toronto.

She began her career at Sunnybrook in 2003 and holds an academic appointment as Associate Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Toronto.

Her strong commitment to teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students has led to several prestigious awards, including the MD Program Teaching Award for Excellence, the Master Teacher Award, the Award for Teaching Excellence, and the Neelam Sierra Resident Advocacy Award.
