Amanda Selk
MD, MSc, FRCSC
Dr. Selk completed her BSc at the University of Toronto followed by her MD at the University of Western Ontario. She then returned to Toronto for her ObGyn residency followed by a MSc in health research methodology at McMaster University in Hamilton. She completed extra post-graduate training in vulvar dermatology and her clinical and research interests are in colposcopy, vulvar disorders and general obstetrics. She currently supervises multiple medical student and resident research projects. She created and coordinates the vulvar gynecology-dermatology clinic and is the clinical lead for colposcopy at Women’s College Hospital. She is President of the North American Chapter of International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD), and the Society of Canadian Colposcopists. She is also on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Lower Genital Tract Disease and is the fellowship director of the Vulvovaginal Health Fellowship. She is the host of the medical podcast “The Vulva Diaries" and is active on social media under the Twitter account @DrAmandaSelk.
