Research Day 2021

WHAT IS RESEARCH DAY?

The University of Toronto’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has a leading research profile in Canada. Research Day is an opportunity for trainees (medical students, residents, graduate students, fellows and post-doctoral fellows) to present their research to the rest of the department. Each year the program includes oral and poster presentations by trainees.

Also included in the program is the Henderson Lecture, presented by a senior figure in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with topics ranging from pre-eclampsia to ethics in medicine.

At the end of the event, trainees are judged on their presentations and the JW Knox Ritchie Research Awards are presented for best abstract/presentation by trainee category.
