Angela Deane

Dr. Angela Deane is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and an obstetrician, gynaecologist, and minimally invasive surgeon at North York General Hospital. She completed medical school and residency at the University of Calgary followed by fellowship in Advanced Gynaecologic Surgery and Health Quality Improvement at North York General Hospital, University of Toronto. She is invested in improving patient experience and health system quality and has completed certification in Health Quality Improvement and Patient Safety through the Telfer School of Business, University of Ottawa. She has emerged as a recognized national expert in Female Genital Cutting and has undertaken important work in the awareness, care, and management of this population.
