The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at University of Toronto is seeking a full-time MFM Specialist appointable at the minimum rank of Assistant Professor.
The successful candidate will be based primarily atTrillium Health Partners’ Women’s & Children’s Health Program and will provide consultation services to health care providers in all areas ofhigh risk pregnancy care. Working out of the Credit Valley Site HighRisk Antenatal Clinic, the MFM will assume responsibility for fetal ultrasound performed within the fetal assessment unit and participate in the coverage schedule for this unit. The MFM will perform basic fetaldiagnostic procedures such as chorionic villous sampling andamniocentesis and collaborate with other centres in cases that requiremore advanced fetal procedures. The MFM can participate inObstetric call, the quantity of which will be determined on an individualbasis by the Chief of the department. The MFM will also provide “oncall” services from home for urgent consultations in cases pertaining to high-risk obstetric patients. The successful candidate will promote and exemplify excellence in professional practice and conduct.
