Karlijn Cornel finished her Medical School and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. During that time she completed her PhD in the estrogen metabolism in endometrial cancer. Recently she completed her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Toronto and pursued a certificate in Human Behaviour at Harvard University.
Her research interests are in the management of vulvar cancer, immunotherapy and patient reported outcomes.
