Dr. Wong obtained her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital/ Massachusetts General Hospital Combined Program in Ob/Gyn. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and is a Morehead Scholar. She is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and an Academic Educator at the Centre for Faculty Development at the University. 

Dr. Wong came to St. Joseph's Health Center to serve as Medical Director of Obstetrics in 2004. She is currently an active staff member in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Previous to this, she worked at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston and was a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wong is a fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of OB/GYN (DABOG). 

Dr. Wong has received numerous teaching awards from Harvard and the University of Toronto. She serves on the Undergraduate Ultrasound Education Curriculum Committee at U of T and actively teaches ultrasound at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. She also Co-Chairs of the SOGC Obstetrical Content Review Committee and has been involved with the SOGC for more than 10 years.
