Dr. Cristina Mitric joined the Division of Gynaecologic Oncology at the University of Toronto in 2024. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at McGill University, followed by a clinical fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology at the University of Toronto.

Her clinical and research interests focus on immunotherapy for gynecologic cancers, management of pelvic masses, optimizing surgical outcomes in gynecologic oncology, and treatment of vulvar cancer. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Health Services Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME), University of Toronto, with a thesis centered on cost-effectiveness analysis for genetic testing in ovarian cancer. Dr. Mitric is fluent in French, Romanian, and Spanish, and is able to provide patient care in these languages.
