Program Information

The TCART REI fellowship involves 2 to 3 years of both clinical and basic research training as well as hands-on experience with all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology and endocrinology.

The goal of this program for the fellow is to optimize the possibility of a career in academic reproductive endocrinology and infertility, preferably as a clinician-scientist. TCART has status as a “relevant site” of the University of Toronto and is also affiliated with the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital, where Dr. Casper is a senior investigator and has a basic research laboratory together with Dr. Andrea Jurisicova, Dr. Ted Brown, and Dr. Yaakov Bentov. There is also a smaller basic research facility at TCART, directed by Dr. Navid Esfandiari, that is available for fellow projects in embryology or andrology.
